I’m Ajay Singh, a Kubernetes platform engineer based in Detroit, Michigan. At Ford Motor Company, I architect and operate OpenShift infrastructure across more than 100 hybrid clusters, helping thousands of developers ship software reliably.
My work sits at the intersection of platform engineering, automation, and security. I build GitOps workflows and internal tooling with Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD, and Go, with a focus on making complex systems safer and easier to operate.
I studied computer science at Georgia Tech, concentrating in artificial intelligence, security, and information management. Earlier in my career, I built network automation tools at Mailchimp, supported security operations at Georgia Tech, and helped Ford produce 50,000 ventilators for FEMA during the pandemic.
I like making complicated systems easier to operate and easier to understand. Outside of work, I take photos, explore new ideas, and write when I have something worth sharing.
